Third party lab reports are becoming increasingly important within the Delta 8, and hemp industry in order to ensure product efficacy, and potency. Ensuring that products are tested is an important part of being an educated consumer, as well as maintaining safety while consuming federally legal hemp products.
Lab reports provide the cannabis industry, and hemp industry with results on their potency, as well as providing a rich cannabinoid profile in many cases. Delta 8 THC products within the industry have been the subject of great controversy and scrutiny.
This is primarily due to the lack of third party lab tested products on the market, creating a “grey” market. existing outside of the black market of Delta-9 THC, but not quite on par with the existing medical and recreational markets.
This again makes the market much more controversial than it needs to be, and many hemp business owners are taking it upon themselves to provide test results to their customers.
The 2018 Farm Bill: The Hemp Plants Boom
CBD Oil, CBD Tincture, these are products that have been available on the market since the initial CBD boom of the 2010’s, but the 2018 Farm Bill “opened the floodgates” to a broad spectrum of hemp products. Delta 8 is the primary beneficiary of this bill, as it allowed the hemp industry to offer a product that could actually intoxicate their consumers.
CBD,CBN,CBG, these are all cannabinoids present within the cannabis plant, but these are non intoxicating cannabinoids. While the cannabis plant and hemp plant have medicinal benefits that are even yet to be discovered, the plant also has a tremendous recreational value. Without the “high” factor, it was incredibly difficult for hemp farmers to compete with those that were cultivating Delta 9 THC.
Delta 8 THC changed the game in a sense, in that it allowed hemp farmers to have freedom within a market that was previously unavailable to them. Delta 8 burst onto the scene primarily in 2020, largely due to the large number of people stuck in their houses, they wanted a product that they could rely on the safety of, while still being able to get high.

Ghost Vapor’s Lab Reports
Our lab tests offer the consumer an inside look into whatever product they are choosing to purchase with us! We offer lab reports across our entire line of products. If you can buy it on our site, you can ensure that it has been put through rigorous lab testing to ensure that we are offering our best products to the best customers.
Again we offer this transparency across our entire line of products, and feel that this should be a blanket practice across the entire industry. One cannot ensure safety, potency, or efficacy of a product if it has not undergone rigorous lab testing such as our products do.
Third party lab reports are extremely important for this reason. I would not want to risk putting something into my body, in particular an intoxicant, if I am not aware of the dosage or safety. We know our customers feel the same about this, which is why we offer the lab reports, and will continue to offer them across our entire line of products.
