Steam Distilled

Steam distillation, also known as vacuum steam distillation, is one of the most popular methods of terpene extraction. This method of extraction involves heating water to the point of steaming, once the water is steaming the steam is then pumped into a still where there is plant material. The process causes the sacs on the plant material to rupture, and after that, the essential oils are taken away with the steam to a separate chamber for cooling.
